As you might have noticed, I’ve dialed down on writing about my adventures. Not sure if it’s because I’m doing less or because everything isn’t as new anymore.
Work
Studying taught us how to pass exams, with remnants of useful knowledge that we might apply in the workplace someday… if we’re lucky.
School
I currently work for a start-up with 140 mostly American employees with an average employee age of around 25-30 and I’m starting to notice how different my background and experiences are from my colleagues.

Moving to another country is exhausting. I think I probably heavily underestimated the toll it would take on me mentally and physically, because I came here with so much enthusiasm and excitement that I forgot to take a moment to breathe.

It’s been nearly a month and so far, I still love it here. Very occasionally I miss the Netherlands because it’s exhausting to constantly have to adapt and arrange practical things such as housing, but everything is slowly coming together.
