A month in SF

Moving to another country is exhausting. I think I probably heavily underestimated the toll it would take on me mentally and physically, because I came here with so much enthusiasm and excitement that I forgot to take a moment to breathe.

That homey feeling

It’s been nearly a month and so far, I still love it here. Very occasionally I miss the Netherlands because it’s exhausting to constantly have to adapt and arrange practical things such as housing, but everything is slowly coming together.

Update on the last two weeks

First of all, let me start off with the awesome news: I found a house! Whoopee. I’ll be living on Guerro St and 20th St, a block away from Dolores park.

Stanford people parties in Palo Alto

Taking the very old school and noisy Caltrain down to Palo Alto, visiting a birthday party where everyone has 3 parties planned on the same evening and ending up at a "french" party with Stanford peeps.
